Hi, I'm Sonia Ghazali!
UX RESEARCH LEAD, MANAGER & STRATEGIST
Agile | Strategic | Creative | Meticulous | Leader

I am a creative and analytical thinker who thrives on solving complex problems and turning insights into action. As a Lead UX Researcher and Product Strategist, I bridge the gap between user needs and business goals, helping teams make more innovative, more impactful product decisions. My approach blends curiosity, strategy, and human-centered design to create experiences that truly work.
Beyond research and strategy, I’m passionate about uplifting and empowering people. As a resilience trainer, I’ve developed and led programs to help military personnel build mental toughness, enhance mission effectiveness, and improve overall well-being. I’ve seen firsthand how the right mindset can transform challenges into opportunities — an approach that also shapes my research philosophy, ensuring the experiences I design support and empower users in meaningful ways.
That same passion drives my approach as a Design Thinker, where I help teams and organzations break out of rigid thinking and develop solutions that genuinely serve users is one of the most rewarding aspects of what I do.

I love exploring new places and cultures — there’s something about stepping into the unknown that fuels my curiosity. And when I’m not traveling, you’ll probably find me engaged in a competitive game of CLUE, embracing my inner detective with friends and family.
During the pandemic, I figured I'd tackle fishing—how hard could it be, right? Well, I had enough patience to outlast a rock, but the fish clearly didn't get the memo. Let's just say I'm sticking with my day job!
And here’s a fun twist — before my UX journey, I was an architect. Turns out, designing spaces and designing experiences have more in common than you’d think. It’s all about understanding people, anticipating their needs, and creating something meaningful.
So, that’s me — researcher, strategist, resilience coach, design thinker, traveler, and detective.
